Sally explained that she received a call from Harry 11 years ago, when he was in an on-off relationship with Cressida Bonas.

She said Harry asked her about his future wife and what she would look like.

Speaking to the Mirror, Sally said: “One of the sweetest things he said to me was, ‘What colour hair will my future wife have? Will she have blonde hair?’

“I said he would marry someone with dark hair.”

She told Vanessa Feltz: “They’re very much in love, I don’t think they’ll ever split up, I think that he’s now really burnt all his bridges where the UK and his brother is concerned.”

Sally went on: “I think that he’s very happy in his marriage and he’s able to get through each day, each week, because they’re together they support one another.

“Your grief changes doesn’t it, but I think that because he’s so in the public eye because he’s really sort of abdicated. It’s just akin to Edward and Wallis isn’t it?”
