In a statement that has fans and insiders buzzing, the Bulls coach suggested he’d be willing to invest hundreds of millions to land a superstar Chicago desperately needs. No names were explicitly mentioned, but speculation is already off the charts — and everyone knows who he’s hinting at. Anthony Davis’ name has quickly become the centerpiece of trade chatter, and the league is watching closely.
The Chicago Bulls have been mentioned repeatedly in connection with Davis over the past several days. To be clear, there’s no confirmed report that the Bulls are actively pursuing him or that Davis wants to come to Chicago — yet speculation refuses to slow. CBS Sports’ Sam Quinn ranked Chicago second among potential landing spots for the former champion, while Zach Lowe and Michael Pina of The Ringer proposed trade packages they believe could entice Dallas.
