Despite the loss, two-timeĀ NFLĀ MVP quarterbackĀ Patrick Mahomes still had himself a productive outing. He finished the game 29-of-41 for 318 yards with a passing touchdown and a pick, while also rushing for a team-high 60 yards and another score on the ground.
The former Texas Tech star is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in sports, and while most know him for slicing up their favorite defense on the weekend, Mahomes is also one of the faces of Adidas. As shared by Mahomes on Instagram, he and Adidas have launched a new colorway of his Mahomes 2 Impact FLX turf shoes called āTailgate.ā
As seen on Adidasā site, the colors are a nod to the renowned BBQ scene in both Kansas City where Mahomes plays and his home state of Texas.

There is a possibility that Mahomes dons them while wearing his pregame outfit ahead of Sundayās game against theĀ Detroit LionsĀ (4-1).
