The Chicago Bulls are one of the most storied franchises in NBA history, celebrated for their two iconic three-peats under Michael Jordan in the 1990s. From 1991 to 1993 and again from 1996 to 1998, the Bulls cemented themselves as a basketball dynasty, creating memories that still resonate with fans worldwide. Now, decades after those glory days, former Bulls star Horace Grant is bringing that legendary energy back — in a completely unexpected way.
Grant, a key player during Chicago’s first three-peat, was drafted in 1987 and played seven seasons with the team, averaging 12.6 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game. He stood alongside Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and other Hall of Famers, helping define a generation of basketball excellence. While Grant has remained involved in the game over the years, his latest move promises to connect fans directly to the stories, personalities, and lessons behind those championship runs.
On Tuesday, Grant announced a new television series titled “Legends in Session with Horace Grant”, a project that merges sports, storytelling, and charitable initiatives. The series, set to premiere and be filmed in Chicago, will feature 13 one-hour episodes in its first season, offering fans a front-row seat to the world of NBA legends.
“There are so many stories we’ve never had the chance to tell and this show will allow us to celebrate what we’ve lived through, to give back while we do it, and to inspire the next generation to build on what we started,” Grant said. “At its heart, Legends in Session is more than a talk show—it’s a movement that bridges sports, storytelling, and service.”

What sets this series apart is its unique structure, modeled after an actual NBA game. Each episode will feature a “pregame, tipoff, four quarters, halftime, and postgame,” creating a dynamic narrative that mirrors the highs and lows of professional basketball. Guests will also participate in a charitable component, signing two pieces of memorabilia per episode, which will be auctioned off to benefit local and national causes.
The lineup of expected guests reads like a who’s who of NBA royalty: Scottie Pippen, Stacey King, BJ Armstrong, Vernon Maxwell, Charles Oakley, Gary Payton, and Penny Hardaway are all slated to appear. Fans can anticipate rare insights into locker room dynamics, behind-the-scenes stories from championship runs, and personal reflections on the game’s evolution over the past three decades.
While a specific release date has not yet been confirmed, Legends in Session is expected to debut in mid-2026. The series promises to give basketball enthusiasts more than nostalgia — it offers inspiration, education, and a chance to see their favorite legends giving back in real time.
For fans of the Bulls and the NBA at large, Horace Grant’s return isn’t just about reliving the past. It’s about bridging generations, celebrating history, and reminding everyone that the impact of a champion extends far beyond the court. With storytelling, star power, and charitable action all in one package, Legends in Session might just redefine how sports legends connect with fans — one quarter at a time.
