While signing legislation honoring the legendary 1980 U.S. Men’s Hockey Team — a symbol of American resilience and national pride — Trump was questioned about Ilhan Omar and ongoing concerns surrounding programs and funding in Minnesota. His response immediately captured national attention.
Trump did not hedge his words. He criticized Omar as a politician who routinely attacks America, asserting that individuals who “come from elsewhere” should not presume to lecture Americans on how to run their own country.
