On September 18, watch enthusiasts spotted yet another rare timepiece on Zuckerberg’s wrist—this time in a promotional clip for Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. Dressed in his signature T-shirt, the Meta CEO chose to wear the Greubel Forsey Nano Foudroyante EWT, a model released at the end of 2024 to celebrate the brand’s 20th anniversary.
The watch features a 37.9 mm white gold case with a thickness of 10.5 mm, paired with a tantalum bezel and caseback. Its highlight is the ultra-miniature seconde foudroyante mechanism—a lightning-second hand that divides each second into six increments, in sync with the 3Hz oscillation of the flying tourbillon. This is an extremely limited edition of just 11 pieces worldwide, retailing at around $540,000, but already being listed on the secondary market for as high as $700,000. Photo: Hodinkee.
Wearing two watches from entirely different segments on the same day underscores Zuckerberg’s increasingly diverse collecting taste. While he remains loyal to his signature casual T-shirt style, the young billionaire cleverly adds a touch of sophistication through his choice of watches. Photo:
