Democratic firebrand Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett just detonated a political bomb on live television — and the Republican Party is already scrambling for cover.
Appearing on CNN, Crockett tore into House Speaker Mike Johnson for what she called his blatant attempt to shield Donald Trump from the explosive Epstein files. And she didn’t mince words. Not even close.
It started when Jake Tapper played a clip of Johnson nervously defending himself, insisting he never tried to suffocate the discharge petition that would force the Epstein transparency bill onto the House floor. Johnson claimed — with a straight face — that he only wanted to “protect the victims.”
Crockett wasn’t buying it.
“I would cuss but I’m not going to — I’m gonna just say he’s full of it,” she began.
“This is cable, you can cuss,” Tapper teased.
Crockett cracked a smile. Then she delivered the line that instantly went viral:
“Okay, I’m gonna do it. He’s full of sh*t.”
And she was only just getting started.
According to Crockett, Johnson’s supposed concern for Epstein’s victims is one of the most insulting lies the GOP has tried to peddle. She laid out, step by step, how Johnson has repeatedly bent the rules, twisted the Constitution, and abused his power — all to avoid letting the truth about Trump and Epstein see daylight.
“Number one,” she said, “we know he didn’t even bring the House back in because he was trying to avoid us dealing with Epstein.”
She reminded viewers that Johnson refused to swear in a duly elected member of Congress — literally depriving her district of representation — and only relented after being sued.
“He violated the Constitution to avoid this,” she said. “So miss me on pretending that this is about the victims.”
Then Crockett exposed something even more disturbing.
When the committee released redacted documents from the Epstein estate — with every victim’s name removed — it was Republicans who began publicly speculating about the identity of one of the victims. Their reckless behavior was so outrageous that the victim’s own family had to step forward and condemn them for endangering her privacy.
“So they’re full of it,” Crockett said again, her voice firm and unwavering. “Completely full of it.”
And then she made the prediction that has Republicans terrified:
Johnson only shifted positions because he knows the Senate may block the release of the files — either because they won’t touch it or because they know they don’t have the votes.
Translation: Johnson pretended to cooperate because he expects the Senate to kill the bill for him.
But here’s the trap the GOP has walked straight into:
If the Republican-controlled Senate blocks the Epstein files, they will be confirming — loudly — that their top priority is protecting Donald Trump, not victims.
If they release the files and the documents reveal what many believe they will? Then the MAGA movement will be permanently and irreversibly scorched.
The Republican Party is boxed in on all sides. Either decision is catastrophic.
They either:
-
Expose Trump, or
-
Expose themselves as the protectors of a predator.
Lose-lose. No escape.
And as Crockett made clear, the country is watching.
She didn’t just call out Mike Johnson. She illuminated the entire operation — the delays, the constitutional violations, the political contortions, the transparent panic of men who see the truth barreling toward them like a freight train.
The Epstein files are coming.
And for a GOP already collapsing under the weight of scandal, conspiracy, and corruption, this may be the scandal that finally sinks the ship.
