In a solemn and emotional ceremony, the Los Angeles Dodgers officially unveiled a bronze statue commemorating the pivotal moment leading to the World Series championship. Thousands of fans gathered at the new plaza outside Dodger Stadium, carrying flags, jerseys and cameras, to admire the “soul” of the most glorious era in the team’s history.
The statue, about 3 meters high, vividly recreates the decisive situation: the saving catch, the fateful throw and the fiery celebration of the whole team. Every muscle, fold of shirt and determined look was meticulously sculpted, as if to bring the history of the season into bronze.

Stan Kasten – Dodgers President, emotionally addressed the crowd. He said the statue not only honored the player, but also symbolized all the fans: “This is the spirit of the new era of the Dodgers – the moment when belief turned into victory.” Many spectators were moved to tears by this announcement.
The ceremony was attended by current players, team legends and many important figures in MLB. One star pitcher shared: “I will never forget that moment when the locker room shook like the whole stadium. It was not only a highlight, but a message that we will fight until the end.” Another teammate said: “When I see this statue, I still get excited. It connects us all.”

After the dedication, the statue quickly became a centerpiece of the team’s heritage plaza where fans took photos, recorded videos, touched the statue for luck, and shared their feelings on social media with hashtags like #DodgersStatue, #TheMoment, #ForeverLA.
Kasten also revealed that this is just the beginning. The Dodgers will build a “Championship Legacy Plaza” dedicated to honor classic moments, legends and key games that have shaped the team’s identity. “Every generation of fans deserves to be connected to the moments that made history,” he said, “and this plaza will continue to grow and inspire the future.”

The MLB community was equally excited — many were discussing whether the next plays would be worthy of sculpture. Fans everywhere shared their memories: they talked about screaming on the sofa, hugging strangers in joy, and the moments when their team won.
A former Dodgers star said: “When I look at the statue, I see the fire that previous generations lit. The Dodgers won not only with talent, but also with heart. This statue is that heart.”
As the historic moment replayed in front of the plaza, everyone was transported back to that sacred moment. Cheers rang out, joy spread everywhere and as night fell, the statue shone like a beacon of victory, reminding everyone: this is our moment, forever.
