KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Travis Kelce turned back the clock on Monday night against the Washington Commanders.
The future Hall-of-Fame Kansas City Chiefs tight end added to his historic career with his 83rd regular-season touchdown reception, tying Priest Holmes for the most regular-season touchdowns in franchise history.
Kelce’s historic touchdown came on a 10-yard score in the third quarter that gave Kansas City a 21-7 lead over the Washington Commanders. It was Kelce’s 100th career receiving touchdown, his third score of the 2025 season, and his sixth reception of the night.
The record-tying catch was on Kelce’s 1041st catch of his career. Of his 83 touchdowns, 82 of them have been of the receiving variety.
Kelce is now the franchise leader in receptions, receiving yards, total touchdowns and receiving touchdowns.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes also made sure to secure the ball for keeping for the legendary tight end.
