Emma Watson Rushes to US for Political Icon’s Funeral
Beloved Hollywood actress Emma Watson, known around the world for her glamorous roles and quiet charity work, unexpectedly flew to Washington, D.C., late Thursday night to attend the funeral of politician Charlie Kirk.
According to sources close to the matter, Emma Watson canceled a major shoot in London when news of Kirk’s sudden death broke. Witnesses said the 35-year-old arrived with a minimal entourage, wearing a simple white dress and dark sunglasses, and quietly bowed to waiting fans.
Trump ally Charlie Kirk was assassinated. Kirk was shot in the neck while speaking to students at Utah Valley University. The gunman opened fire from a building about 200 yards away, about 20 minutes after Kirk addressed the crowd. It is not yet clear whether the shooting occurred on the roof or from a window of the building.
