The highlight of the film is the four main characters – four girls Meg, Jo, Beth, Amy March with different personalities and ambitions, but all bring simple and cozy lessons about sisterhood, as well as positive inspiration for women to speak up about their wishes and thoughts.
The gentle Meg March (played by Emma Watson)
Margaret “Meg” March is the eldest sister in the family. Unlike her younger sister Jo, Meg is beautiful in a traditional way, graceful, and well-mannered. Although Meg and her husband later experience many ups and downs in their lives, she still perseveres to raise her small family.
