On a quiet evening in October 1971, in the suburb of Brookmoor, Illinois, the Langley family sat down for dinner — and were never seen again.
The scene left behind was eerie and untouched. Plates of food still sat steaming on the table. The television buzzed in the background. Lights were on. The front door was unlocked.
