Bavaria – A group of hikers claim to have discovered a strange metallic capsule deep in the Bavarian forest, reigniting decades-old conspiracy theories that Adolf Hitler escaped Earth and fled to a secret moon base.
According to eyewitnesses, the object was “half-buried in the ground” and bore markings resembling old Nazi insignia. “It was unlike anything I’ve ever seen,” said Stefan Müller, 42, who insists the capsule hummed faintly as if powered by an internal engine. “My grandfather always whispered that Hitler never really died in Berlin. Now I wonder if he was telling the truth.”
The bizarre discovery quickly went viral after photos—grainy and partially blurred—circulated on online forums. Conspiracy theorists wasted no time, claiming this was evidence of the long-rumored “Fourth Reich on the Moon,” a myth suggesting Hitler and his closest allies escaped in experimental spacecraft.
Adding fuel to the fire, one anonymous commenter, claiming to be a retired engineer, insisted: “We worked on secret propulsion systems in 1944. The Americans never found everything.”
Historians have strongly rejected the claims. Professor Klaus Reinhardt of Munich University dismissed the story as “a recycled legend with no scientific merit.” He argued that the so-called capsule is likely an abandoned Cold War relic. Still, Reinhardt admitted the timing of the discovery—coinciding with a lunar eclipse—was “curiously dramatic.”
Meanwhile, villagers near the site report that the forest has been closed off by authorities for “environmental research.” Some residents whisper that government trucks removed the capsule late at night. “They don’t want us to know,” said Müller. “If Hitler really did build a base on the moon, maybe he’s been watching us all along.”
