“Divergent” star Shailene Woodley splits from football star Aaron Rodgers after a year of engagement.

On February 17, a source confirmed to NBC Sports: “It was an amicable breakup. Their relationship is no longer smooth. They are both busy with their own careers and have obstacles that cannot be overcome. They will remain friends, no animosity or noise.”

Last week, many fans were curious when Woodley was absent from the NFL Honors event, where Aaron Rodgers won the MVP award. During their relationship, the two kept their personal life private and rarely appeared together in public. The couple got engaged in February 2021, announcing the good news to fans at the NFL Honors awards ceremony last year.

Shailene Woodley, born in 1991, is famous for her roles in the films The Descendants, The Spectacular Now and Divergent. She first appeared in the film The O.C. in 2003 and continued to appear in the series The Secret Life of the American Teenager on the American television channel ABC from 2008 to 2013. Before meeting Rodgers, Woodley dated rugby player Ben Volavola for two years, breaking up in April 2020.

Aaron Rodgers, born in 1983, is a quarterback for the NFL’s Green Bay Packers. He won MVP awards in the 2011, 2014, 2020 and 2021 seasons. Critics and media consider Rodgers to be one of the greatest football quarterbacks of all time.
