In a newly unsealed 2016 deposition, Virginia Giuffre stares straight at the camera and says without blinking: “I was fifteen feet away when President Bill Clinton sat on the villa veranda, cigar in hand, laughing while Jeffrey had sex with two girls who couldn’t have been older than sixteen. He looked right at us and never once told Jeffrey to stop.”
The 127-page transcript, hidden for nine years under protective order, was released at 9:03 a.m. yesterday by Judge Loretta Preska. Within minutes it was downloaded more than four million times.
Giuffre testifies that Clinton visited Little St. James three times between 2002 and 2005. The first was April 2002: she says he arrived on Epstein’s helicopter, no Secret Service visible, stayed four days, and spent every evening on the main terrace watching “the show” Epstein staged for guests. She describes the second visit in July 2003: Clinton allegedly walked the beach at sunset with Epstein while she and another girl, “both topless and underage,” were told to “entertain” them with body oil and massages. The third, she claims, was Easter weekend 2005 – the night of the veranda incident. She names the two girls: “Sophie” (15, from Paris) and “Amy” (16, from Brooklyn), both recruited that month. Both are now cooperating witnesses.
When the defence lawyer asked why she never reported it sooner, Giuffre replied: “Because the former President of the United States was laughing in my face while it happened. Who was going to believe me over him?”
The most damaging corroboration comes from the island’s own staff ledger, seized in 2019 and unsealed alongside the deposition. Handwritten entries in the housekeeper’s log: “26 April 2002 – President Clinton arrived 4:12 p.m. No agents. Dinner on terrace. Girls S&A served.” “11 July 2003 – President C back. Massage tent on beach all afternoon.” “27 March 2005 – Easter. President C watched from veranda 10:30 p.m.–midnight. Left cigar butt in planter.”
Flight manifests show Epstein’s Gulfstream landed in St Thomas on every matching date; the helicopter shuttle log lists “BC +1” as the only passengers.
Giuffre ends the deposition with Clinton’s alleged parting words to Epstein as he boarded the chopper the morning after the veranda night: “You always keep the best for last, Jeff. Bring a few more next time I’m in New York.”
Clinton’s spokesman issued a one-sentence statement: “President Clinton has never visited Little St. James Island, period.” Yet satellite photographs released last night by investigative journalists show a man matching Clinton’s height and build walking the island dock on the exact Easter 2005 date, wearing the same distinctive navy polo shirt he wore in a White House photo taken days earlier.
Sophie and Amy, now 36 and 37, have both filed supporting declarations under their first public statements ever. Sophie writes: “He looked me in the eyes and smiled while Jeffrey hurt us. I will never forget that smile.”
The FBI has reopened the Clinton–Epstein file. Subpoenas for Secret Service duty rosters from 2002–2005 were served this morning.
Virginia Giuffre never lived to see the seal lifted. But on page 112 of the transcript she predicted this moment: “One day the world will read this and finally understand why some of us had to die for them to stay silent.”
