And he says something that sounds insane: “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” (Matthew 2:19).
They thought he was talking about the building.
They mocked him: “It took 46 years to build this temple, and you will raise it in three days?”
But John, the mystic gospel writer, adds this line: “But he spoke of the temple of his body.”
Listen, that’s not just about Jesus.
That’s about you.
The temple was never a building.
It was never stone and gold and curtains.
The temple is the body.Your body.
Chapter 4: The Pineal Gland – The Lamp of the Body
In the ancient temple, there was a golden lampstand, seven branches, always burning, never allowed to go out.
