Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has received a highly lucrative contract offer worth a staggering €1 billion over five seasons.
According to OK Diario, the Saudi Pro League has not given up on its efforts to lure top stars from Real Madrid. After failing to secure Vinicius, their new target is Jude Bellingham.
The report claims that Saudi Arabia has made a massive offer to the English star: a five-year contract valued at €1 billion net, which equals €200 million per season.
Despite the staggering numbers, Jude Bellingham’s response has been crystal clear: he is not interested in money and firmly believes his place is at Real Madrid.
Bellingham wants to continue developing in Europe and takes pride in wearing the jersey of Los Blancos, a club that can bring him both the Champions League and the Ballon d’Or. With lofty ambitions for his career, he sees moving to the Saudi Pro League as a step backward.
President Florentino Pérez is said to be very pleased with Bellingham’s commitment to Real Madrid, even as Saudi Arabia attempted to lure him with a massive financial package.
The 22-year-old midfielder joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2023 and immediately became an integral part of the squad, adored by fans at the Bernabéu. The club’s leadership has already identified him as a cornerstone of Real Madrid’s medium- and long-term plans.
Bellingham has now returned to training with his teammates after undergoing shoulder surgery in mid-July. Although the initial plan required him to be sidelined for 10–12 weeks, his recovery has progressed well, raising the possibility of an earlier comeback for Real Madrid.
