Is Mark Zuckerberg a Kardashians superfan?
The Meta CEO, 40, took to his own platform, Instagram, on Monday, February 10, to shout out members of the famous family. In the selfie he posted, he sported a sweatshirt that said “Kim is my lawyer.” In the caption, the tech mogul wrote, “the only appropriate hoodie,” and tagged Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner. (Kim famously passed the “baby bar” exam in 2021, though she has not yet passed the California general bar or attended law school.) He also wore the new Meta X Ray Ban sunglasses.
Kim, 42, commented on the photo, writing, “Hahaha I love it!!! 🙋🏻♀️”
On the other hand, many users were less complimentary. “‘So bizarre this midlife crisis you’re going through,” wrote one user.
Multiple followers mentioned that Meta had laid off thousands of employees on the day that Zuckerberg posted the smiling selfie. “How can you smile when you’ve just destroyed thousands of lives and families with Meta layoffs?” asked one, while another joked, “That face you pull after sending the email to lay off 4,000 people.”
Some comments were more complimentary. One user wrote, “Looking good, absolutely Amazing,” and another said, “I love the smile @zuck It warms my heart.”
This is the second time in 2025 that Zuckerberg has made news because of his interactions with a female media personality. He sat next to Jeff Bezos‘ fianceé, Lauren Sanchez, at President Donald Trump‘s inauguration on January 25, and an image quickly circulated in which he appeared to be staring at her chest. The image was revealed to be more of a passing glance in a video of the event. Zuckerberg also liked Sanchez’s Instagram post later that same week.
