Mike Lindell, the founder and CEO of MyPillow, has cast doubt over Mark Zuckerberg‘s shift toward conservatism.

Why It Matters
Lindell is a prominent figure in the MAGA movement and an ardent supporter of President-elect Donald Trump. As well as running MyPillow, Lindell hosts the website FrankSpeech, a platform for right-wing pundits as well as his own thoughts.
There have recently been a significant number of changes at Meta, including the appointment of high-profile conservative figures including Joel Kaplan and Dana White, the departure of the former British Liberal Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg, and the removal of fact-checking, as well as a lift on restrictions for certain topics like immigration and gender.
The moves are considered a sign that Zuckerberg, a former champion of liberal causes, is following the playbook of Elon Musk and looking to shift Meta platforms to the right, in addition to currying favor with the incoming Trump administration.
What To Know
Speaking to Natalie Winters, a co-host of Steve Bannon’s War Room podcast, Lindell criticized Zuckerberg’s shift.
Winters said to Lindell: “Whatever you do, don’t give Mark Zuckerberg a MyPillow promo code as he tries to complete his MAGA conversion.”
Lindell responded: “What’s going on there, I can’t believe it. What a shameful thing, stuff he did back then. And now he’s changed? Come on.”
He then refers to the Meta CEO as “Suckerberg” and Winters refers to him as an “absolute disgrace.”
In a separate 48-minute video on Bannon’s War Room, titled “Don’t Fall for Zuckerberg MAGA Conversion,” Winters spoke in depth about Zuckerberg and said: “Mark Zuckerberg, for all the money that you have, you need to get a better acting coach.”
Zuckerberg recently appeared on the Joe Rogan podcast, where he criticized the White House over the way senior officials pressured Meta to moderate content. The interview, in which Zuckerberg was critical of President Joe Biden, aired 10 days before Trump’s inauguration.
