FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel said the team remains focused on football as two players continue to deal with ongoing off-field situations away from the facility.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Vrabel emphasized that the organization is taking a measured approach, allowing league and legal processes to run their course while the team prepares for its upcoming game.
“Our focus is on football,” Vrabel said. “There are processes in place for these situations, and we’ll let those play out. Inside this building, our job is to prepare, coach, and compete.”
The Patriots declined to provide specific details regarding the two players, citing privacy concerns and ongoing reviews. Both players remain away from team activities as the situation develops.
Vrabel stressed the importance of maintaining structure and accountability while also supporting the locker room during distractions. “You can’t control everything,” he said. “What you can control is how you prepare and how you respond.”
The Patriots will continue to evaluate the situation in coordination with the NFL and release updates as appropriate.
