Prince Andrew could be linked to testimony from five key witnesses in the trial involving Virginia Roberts Giuffre, Jeffrey Epstein, and Ghislaine Maxwell.
The Duke of York, 61, faces a legal battle over a lawsuit filed by Giuffre, who alleges she was forced to have sex with him three times in 2001 and 2002 — in London, New York, and on Epstein’s private Caribbean island.
Giuffre claims she was trafficked to Andrew by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Andrew has consistently denied all allegations and has stated he was not aware of any improper behavior by Epstein or Maxwell.
Giuffre’s legal team has named Robert Olney, Andrew’s former equerry, and Shukri Walker, who claims to have seen Andrew at Tramp nightclub in London on the night of the alleged assault, as the first witnesses to be called.
Andrew’s daughter, Princess Beatrice — who he claimed to have been with on the night in question — is reportedly not expected to be called as a witness. No other members of the royal family are expected to be summoned.
Five potential witnesses who could link Andrew to Giuffre, Epstein, and Maxwell:
Johanna Sjoberg
Epstein’s former personal assistant Johanna Sjoberg alleged that Andrew groped her breast when she was 21 while she sat on a sofa with him and Virginia Giuffre.
In testimony from 2016, she described an incident where she sat on Andrew’s lap with a puppet and claimed he placed his hand on her. The alleged incident occurred at Epstein’s New York residence.
Steve Scully
Steve Scully, Epstein’s former tech specialist and handyman, claimed he saw Prince Andrew on Epstein’s private island and spoke to him while he was with Giuffre.
In a recorded account, Scully alleged that Andrew removed Giuffre’s bathing suit top and kissed and touched her. He said Giuffre appeared frightened. He has expressed willingness to testify in court.
Anthony Figueroa
Giuffre’s ex-boyfriend Anthony Figueroa stated that she confided in him about what Epstein and Maxwell expected her to do with Andrew and that she was “scared.”
Figueroa said Giuffre told him in 2001 that she knew she would be meeting Andrew and feared what was expected of her. He has called for Andrew to face legal questioning.
Larry Visoski
Epstein’s longtime pilot Larry Visoski testified in Maxwell’s trial that he flew high-profile passengers, including Prince Andrew and Giuffre, to multiple locations on Epstein’s jets.
Visoski said he remembered Giuffre and confirmed Epstein frequently traveled between residences in New York, Florida, New Mexico, Paris, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Andrew’s name appeared on flight logs and in Maxwell’s contact book.
“Jane”
An anonymous witness known as “Jane,” Maxwell’s youngest identified victim, testified that she flew on Epstein’s plane with Prince Andrew during the period she was abused.
She alleged that Maxwell and Epstein sexually abused her during flights and at properties, and stated under oath that Andrew was present on at least one flight she was on.
