A Brief but Memorable Appearance on Summer House
Erika’s reality-TV moment came during Season 3 of Bravo’s Summer House, the hit show that follows a group of friends vacationing in the Hamptons. Though she appeared only in a single episode, her presence made an impression.
Cast member Carl Radke introduced her as a beautiful, faith-centered woman — a refreshing contrast, he suggested, to the typical drama-filled energy of the house. He even tried to play matchmaker, pairing Erika with friend and fellow cast member Jordan Verroi.
Verroi had high praise for Erika, calling her “a bright light in a very dark place,” and the two went on a date during the episode. They connected over shared values, including faith and personal goals, leading viewers to believe a deeper relationship might develop. But once filming wrapped, the spark didn’t continue. The two went their separate ways, and the storyline ended there.
What didn’t end, however, was Erika’s internal sense of direction.

Erika enrolled at Liberty University, where she completed her Jurist Master degree. In social media posts at the time, she described leaving TV opportunities behind as a “major sacrifice,” but one she believed would prepare her for the mission she felt called to pursue.
A New Chapter: Meeting Charlie Kirk
Fate, as it turned out, met her on the other side of that decision. Erika met Charlie Kirk in autumn 2018, and the two quickly connected over faith, patriotism, and a shared interest in cultural and political issues. They married in 2021, later welcoming two children.
Those who knew only the polished, public-facing Erika — podcast host, advocate, mother, and now leading figure at Turning Point USA — were unaware that she had once stood in front of an entirely different camera, in an entirely different world.
Why Her Reality-TV Past Matters Now
Erika’s brief stint on Summer House has resurfaced at a moment when the public is paying closer attention to her than ever before. Her advocacy work, her growing platform, and — more recently — her leadership role following the passing of her husband have thrust her into the national conversation.
Yet this rediscovered chapter doesn’t undermine her story; it enriches it.
It reveals a woman who had opportunities for instant fame at her fingertips, yet turned toward education, faith, and long-term purpose instead. It highlights a young Erika who, even before entering public life, made deliberate choices about the kind of influence she wanted to have.
