Virginia Giuffre’s family has called for investigations in her allegations to be reopened.
Virginia died by suicide earlier this year and is survived by her three children.
She was a prominent accuser of Jeffrey Epstein and alleged that she was recruited by Ghislaine Maxwell to be a massage therapist for the wealthy financier when she was a teenager, but this was far from what her apparent ‘job’ entailed.
In her newly released memoir, which hit shelves yesterday (October 21), Virginia spoke of her fears that she would die as a sex slave for Epstein.
She also claims that she was made to have sex with Prince Andrew on three separate occasions — something the King’s brother has always denied.
Virginia ultimately filed a civil suit against the once-senior royal, which was settled in 2022. The payout was never revealed but reports have suggested that it was as much as £12 million, as per The Guardian.

Ahead of the release of her tell-all memoir, Prince Andrew was forced to give up his royal titles and honors. The Giuffre family want King Charles to take a step further, however, and have Prince Andrew stripped of ‘Prince’ title as well.
Virginia’s loved ones have spoken out once more in the wake of her book being released.
Sky Giuffre, her brother, and his wife Amanda were interviewed on ITV‘s This Morning yesterday.
Discussing what it was like reading the memoir for the first time, Amanda said: “We always knew what the contents of the book were going to be. But this felt particularly hard. Holding the physical copy in our hand while she’s not here anymore,” she said.
“There were so many big feelings. It was a heavy read of course, but there are also so many beautiful moments that highlighted who she was and her character and her quirkiness, her love for music. I could hear her voice.”
Sky added: “We’re very proud of her. There are so many intimate details that she shares. To me, it makes it very difficult for anybody that might be complicit to poke holes in her story.”
Sky went on to say that he believes inquiries into his late sister’s allegations should be reopened.
“I think that the work is not yet done,” he said. “This is just the beginning. It was kind of written that way where it was meant for some sort of action to take place, following the book release.”
Sky continued to tell the This Morning hosts: “We need to reopen investigations. I think the UK law enforcement have documentation that supports being able to bring people to justice. Including Prince Andrew.”
He continued to say of the former Duke of York: “Just because you have the word ‘prince’ in front of your name, doesn’t mean there is a different set of laws for you. I do believe that if prince wasn’t in front of his name, he would be behind bars.”
